What is the UPS Conceptand how does it work?
The Carving Pro course based on the UPS concept combines our many years of practical experience with a modern UPS training method. This approach helps skiers master the technique faster, confidently improve their skills, and achieve steady progress at every stage of the learning process.
The UPS concept (Using Prolonged Skis) is a training system based on the use of skis of different lengths, designed according to the same construction principles as professional racing skis.
The training begins on 90 cm skis, continues on 125 cm skis, and gradually progresses to standard carving skis.
ski course program
● On slope training - 09:00 – 12:00 ● Lunch break - 12:00 – 13:00 ● Second practical training session - 13:00 – 15:00
*Please note that weather conditions may vary, and the training program may be adjusted accordingly
Course ScheduleDay 1
We begin training on standard skis and then switch to 90 cm skis. We practise foot movements in traversing and carving, perform single, compound, and linked carving turns, as well as technical exercises. We record videos. In the evening, we analyse the movements and attend a lecture on biomechanics.
Day 2
We continue training on 90 cm skis. We consolidate the material from the first day, make corrections following the video analysis, and improve the basic movements using training equipment. We move on to a steeper slope.
Day 3
We switch to 125 cm skis and transfer the skills acquired on the 90 cm skis.
Day 4
We continue training on 125 cm skis. We learn turns with greater edge angles and then switch to our own full-length skis. We train on slopes of varying steepness, performing turns with changes in rhythm, radius, and speed. We record videos and analyse the technique during a seminar.
Day 5
We ski on full-length skis on steeper slopes. We perform technical exercises, including exercises using various training equipment.
Day 6
We consolidate and improve the acquired skills and perform turns on slopes of varying steepness. We summarise the results of the course.

Ski passes can also be purchased at the lift station. In addition, we recommend asking your hotel or apartment host whether they sell ski passes, as many accommodation providers offer them directly to their guests.
If you have any questions or need help choosing accommodation, feel free to contact us.
About the Course
This 6-day course is designed for skiers who want to improve their technique through structured, step-by-step training.
The course is divided into several blocks, each of which focuses on the progressive development and improvement of key technical skills: pressure, rotation, and edging.
By mastering these skills, you will learn to perform turns of different radius, both by guiding the skis on their edges and with controlled skidding. This will allow you to ski confidently on slopes of varying steepness and in all snow conditions while maintaining full control of your skis.
In addition to daily on-snow training, practical theory sessions with video analysis will help you better understand body movements and correct positioning on the skis, allowing you to progress more quickly on the slopes.
